A narrow rear yard was reorganized around a permeable stone walk, layered planting, and a gravel terrace positioned for late-day use. Lawn was reduced so the garden could carry more of the space without becoming harder to maintain.
A sloped front approach was rebuilt with broad stone steps, a low retaining edge, and planting that softens the grade without hiding the architecture. Low-voltage lighting carries the entry through evening use.
Three garden levels turn a difficult slope into a sequence of usable spaces. Stone connections, loose grasses, and a compact dining terrace keep the grade visible while making it easier to move through.
A small office courtyard was simplified into a durable arrival space with restrained paving, low-maintenance planting, and a clearer route from street to entrance. The palette is quiet enough to sit behind the building rather than compete with it.
A rear terrace combines stone paving, a seat wall, a defined grill zone, and concealed drainage in one compact construction. Planting at the edges keeps the room enclosed without making it feel closed in.
Planters, entry lighting, and durable seasonal planting give a neighborhood storefront a more settled edge without narrowing the sidewalk or obscuring the windows. The work is designed for quick seasonal upkeep.
